CAPP/Stage II

The Alternative Payment Program (CAPP) & Stage 2 program administers subsidized child care through a vendor approach, providing full or partial payments for child care of eligible families. These programs are designed to maximize parental choice in selecting child care.

Headstart

Head Start/State Preschool: Community Services Bureau (CSB) has 13 directly operated licensed childcare centers and 20 community partners throughout Contra Costa County; all offering a variety of part-day and full-day early learning and childcare options for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Stage III

CocoKids offers free child care and preschool referrals. Their database of licensed child care for all of Contra Costa and their expert staff can help you find the right care and early education to meet your family and child’s needs.
